Charlie
Charlie's situation with Mira worsens when his boss advises him to
resign in order to keep the it from going on his record. At first he believes that if he resigns it will be an
admission of guilt, but later decides to do it to save Kirsten, who may be pregnant, the stress and worry. When
he goes to sign the papers, Mira's mother has changed her mind about the contractsand now wants Charlie not only
to resign, but also to sign a letter of apology. Charlie will not do this under any circumstance because he is
not guilty of any of the accusations. MaryAnn, the principal and Charlie's boss, tries to find a middle ground,
proposing that Charlie apologize for not handling the situation the proper way, but never admitting guilt. When
Charlie goes home to read over the contracts, Kirsten comes in the room with the sad news that she was pregnant,
but lost the baby. The next day, Charlie decided that he will not quit his job and tells Claudia, who is facing
a similar internal conflict, that he is going to stay and fight the charges that are to come, because he believes
that somehow the truth
will prevail. On Thanksgiving, Mira appears at the door. She tells Charlie that her family is "hurt"
and that she found that after they go to court she could be taken from her mother. She also tells him that her
mother decided that she had Charlie
had an inappropriate relationship after she read her diary. The following day, Charlie goes to Mira's mother and
tells her that Mira came to see him and will attest to his innocence in a court room. He also tells her that he
and she both all-in-all want the same thing: to protect their families. And she should protect her little girl.
Mira's mother drops the charges completely and Kirsten and Charlie go out to celebrate the end of their worries
about the situation with Mira and the fact that Kirsten actually got pregnant.
Bailey
Bailey is approached by Tracy, whom he tells that he cannot see because
she is married. However, Bailey changes his mind when he goes to her house after Thanksgiving dinner to tell her
that he used to be a fun guy and ends up spending the night. This spontaneous act, apparently awakened the young
man in Bailey, because when Will brings two girls to the
restaurant that are ready for a night out, he goes with them.
Julia
Julia find herself in an awkward situation when Evan's hostility
stricken son, Brian comes for a visit. Evan and Brian's relationship proves to be tense and he continually argues
with his son, who has dropped out of, yet another college. Brian even argues with Julia. Julia tells Evan that
he should react differently to his son's acting out. Evan finally takes her advice and handles the situation with
his son on Thanksgiving by telling him that if he doesn't go back to school then he will have to pay back all of
the wasted tuition. Brian decides to go back to school, but does not leave before he kisses Julia.
Claudia
Claudia tells Julia about what happened with Derek at the party.
Julia comforts her and advises her to tell an authority figure. Claudia takes the idea into consideration and
then tells Alexa the story. She also tells Alexa that Derek is now acting almost like nothing happened. Alexa
tells Claudia not to tell anyone because they might not believe her or even worse think of her as promiscuous.
Charlie decides not to tell anyone and tells Julia that.
Daphne
and Griffin
Daphne begins to feel attracted to Griffin, and finds that the feeling
are mutual when she and Griffin get drunk on Thanksgiving and have sex in the Salinger's basement. When they talk
it over the following day, they decide that it was a mistake and that they will just be friends. However, they
just end up kissing.
*Just a note, that between all of the drama in this episode, their was a very nice Thanksgiving dinner that encoded
all of the people on the show and had Victor singing the grace.
Next Week...
Scream will be on. However, the following week Party of Five will be back with Bailey finding a new love interest,
a "secret being revealed", and Griffin and Daphne getting in a motorcycle accident that could be fatal
to one or both of them.
